Enrollment qualification

Requirements for study visa application. Those who have:

Completed minimum 12 years of regular course education (Period varies from country to country.) and other equivalent school education.
Completed the secondary education curriculum as a qualification for entrance to university in their home countries.
(Senior high school graduates or equivalents.)
(Have completed a school curriculum of 12 years or more, if they wish to go to a university in Japan.)
Those who have acquired the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5 level or higher (Japanese language proficiency requirements vary depending on the time of enrollment.)
Individuals with a guarantor residing in Japan or their home country.

• October･･･1-year and 6-month course
• January･･･1-year and 3-month course

Timing for applying to the Immigration Bureau

• April･･･Mid- November (previous year)
• July･･･Mid-March

*Please do not leave any blank spaces in documents (Please attach Japanese translations).
*Once you’ve applied, you cannot change the course.

Required Application Documents

Documents for Applicants		1. Photocopy of passport (If you have visited Japan, copies of all the immigration stamp pages regarding Japan are necessary.) 2. Application Form (school-designated forms) 3. Personal Record and Reason for studying(school-designated forms) 4. Diploma from last school 5. Student Registration Certificate as well as Certificate of temporary leave from school 6.Certificate of JLPT. 7.8 ID-style photos (Photo taken within 6 months before application･ in size 4cm×3cm)
Documents for a financial supporter	For a supporter who lives in Japan	1. Financial sponsor letter 2. Materials proving the relationship between the financial sponsor and the applicant 3. Certificate of Bank Balance (Original) 4. Materials clarifying the history of fund formation over the past year
	For a supporter who lives in applicant’s home country	1. Tax payment certificate of Resident tax or income tax 2. Certificate of employment or copy of corporate registration 3. Letter of Sponsor(school-designated forms) 4. Certificate of registered seal 5. Bank Balance Certificate (You may need it in some cases.)
	When applicant pays the expenses by him/herself	1. Bank Balance Certificate (the name of applicants) 2. Certificate of employment or Business registration certificate(original)

Notes

The document must be created within 6 months before submission to the Immigration Office.
All Certification documents are valid for 3 months.
Graduation Certificate must be Original.
Documents must be filled out personally by the applicant written with a block letter using a ballpoint pen or fountain pen.
If you make a mistake, please double-underline it, then put seal above. Do not use a whiteout.
*Please fill in applicants age completed years.

Resume

When you fill Educational Background, please write in order from elementary school, junior high school, and high school. Please fill in school name, address, entrance day, graduation day specifically. (We do not accept allograph)
If you enrolled in elementally school under 6-year–old, Please submit the explanation letter.
Applicants require to submit statement of explanation, if there are any blanks in 12-year school education. (fill out academic background, work experience. Please make sure to fill in period of preparation exam and enlistment.)

Statement of Studying Reasons

Fill in the purpose to study Japanese (intent, necessity) and after graduation path specifically. We do not accept allograph.

Incomplete documents are not accepted for application.
Entrance fee, tuition and other fee might change any circumstances, please be mindful before you enroll.
Tuition cannot be refunded as a general rule. However, applicants might be able to get a refund for some reasons, so please contact us for details.
We will stop accepting applications once all the places are taken.
Application deadline might be changed. If there is anything we can help you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Student Visa

For Japanese Language institutions, the status of residence is generally Student Visa when receiving Japanese education. If you wish to study at our school for a long term, you need to get this Student Visa.

Availability period of learning

Up to 2 years

Characteristics of Student Visa

allowed to work a part-time job (within 28 hours per week)　　
Since student visa is for the purpose of studying Japanese, you are not allowed below the attendance rate of 80% or more.
If you would like to study Japanese more than 1 year, you need to apply for national health insurance. After you get insurance, you bear 30% of your medical costs if you consult with a medical doctor.
